Our first foray into Kitsap County bookselling was in the early 1990s, then after a college English teacher stint, Terry Heath opened Bookshop Under the Stairs in April 2022, on National Independent Bookstore Day. The store moved to downtown in 2024 and became Sinclair Inlet Book Co. (since there were no stairs to be under). Our latest chapter is what you see now, White Rabbit Book Co., a bookstore where you are.

We are a pop-up and event-based bookseller specializing in themed book events centered around authors, books, readers, and bringing them all together.
